The Class bond

Hey fellow 4E-er! I know we all wanna have a class that spreads the warm arms of acceptance, of love, of touch and bears an identity- different from other classes. We all long for a class that we would feel belonged, one with an atmosphere of enthusiasm- where everyone's excited about everyone, where everyone's spirited, high, and contagious, where everyone's pursuing their dreams- and giving a lift to others so that they can pursue theirs. It is one where no one drags their feet to everyday...for they know there is always a listening ear, a helping hand, and a group that will include them-in every conversation, every laughter, and every tear. It is a class that can have its members all at different places, in different clicks, but yet in the same spirit. Is this just a class in our dreams...one that is impossible for us to reach? The answer lies with every 35 of us. It takes every one's heart, every one's hand to the plow, and every one seeing eye to eye...for this dream-class to be reality. My friends, 4 more months...and the time we'd spend together would be gone...4 more months...make a difference! Not everything has a second chance. 4E is our class. There wouldn't be another like it. Seize the day...and let 4E be the dream-class!

How's everything going?

How is your June holiday? I'm so glad for the break that I got to have though two of the weeks were remedials and meeting after meeting, really. Hope you guys and gals at least have some sort of break after the mid-year exam.

I just got my time-table late last week and though I have more periods than what I already had last semester, I'm glad I get you people for SEL. 3 periods for SS with you is really not enough in terms of time spent with my form class. With these extra 2 periods we can at least have more interaction...

I hope everyone is coping well with the stress building up or are you all feeling stressed up at all? Time is really running out and I hope all of you put in your last 101% of effort and by the end of the year, leave AHS with no regret. I always thought I could do better in my 'o' levels but there's no turning back... I remember I did not manage to get into the first 3 months but really wanted to do theatre studies. Then, only VJC (in the East) offered the course. After the 'o'levels results were out, I wanted to go to VJ and made a trip down hoping to see their P...First I met my friend from AHs who who was there for the 3 months and introduced me to one of the girls doing the theatre studies course. She eyed me up and down and gave a smirk, "you wanna do TS?" I couldn't remember much of what happened after that but I remembered feeling so angry and walking out of the VJC gate.

I remembered after that incident, I didn't even try to use my sports as a credit to get to the better JC where most of my classmates and school mates were. (then, it was Temasek JC) In the end, NYJC actually requested for me to go because they heard I was in the school team for table-tennis and they needed me! Ha! The feeling of people needing you rather than you going round begging is just great.

Moral of story? Do well for your 'o's, know your strength and feel good about it!
